With the dilemmas we faced during our trips to Champagne, we felt compelled to bring our guests a reliable and chic way to bring a little piece of Champagne home with them.  Sending bottles home from the region is possible but not straight forward, and can get expensive.

All the below can fit champagne bottles of 750ml (which was our biggest concern when looking for a suitcase), and we offer 3 different sizes for those who want to bring back various amounts of champagne.

For those traveling with us to Champagne from the United States:

Technically there is no federal limit on how much alcohol can be brought in for personal use, but U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will likely flag you if you're carrying more than a case (e.g. 12 bottles of wine) in your luggage. There is no TSA-regulated quantity limit on beverages with less than 24 percent alcohol, such as wine. Airline-created checked baggage limits still apply, but passengers are free to use the entirety of their quota for wine transport.
